The Children’s Campaign found the original image of this old “Register To Vote” photo in storage boxes a couple of weeks ago:

Honor history and take action today. Support registration efforts and spread this poster across the state.  You can download it in high or low resolution from the web site, above, or here, and if you do print it out and stick it in a storefront, or hang it on the office bulletin board, employee lounge, waiting room, grocery store bulletin board, neighborhood center or place it in a community publication, they’re asking that you take a photo and send to them here.

Today’s voting equipment may be a bit different, but one important thing hasn’t changed: You must register to cast your ballot in November and the deadline is October 4th!

Registration means that when you “pull the lever”, to use the vernacular of the past, you have the power to reverse the downward spiral in the condition of Florida’s children.
