At-Risk Children: Caregiver Custody Options, Charts and Resources

The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) has an excellent collection of caregiver resources in it’s Electronic Data Information Source (EDIS). But enough with the acronyms – You can access a PDF file of one part of a larger University of Florida document that has great charts of legal issues and caregiver custody options, with or without the involvement of the Florida Department of Children and Families, here: Grandparents Legal & Custody Options

The entire IFAS series of  resources and studies of Grandparents raising Grandchildren, which includes a dozen publications addressing financial assistance, health care, schooling, custody, etc., is available online here. Each publication can be read online or downloaded.
